Job summary

Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company invites students to join its Summer Internship Program as an HR Generalist Intern. The program runs from Monday, May 17th through Friday, July 23rd, with a possible extension into mid-August.

Interns will support recruitment, onboarding, program coordination, and HRIS data management in a dynamic team environment. Local candidates are preferred, with potential to continue as interns through fall semester based on eligibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; HR/Labor Relations majors preferred.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on permanent basis; no immigration sponsorship supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing candidates via job boards, social media, and networks.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews for candidates and hiring managers.
• Assist with onboarding and administration tasks.
• Attend recruiting events and represent the company.
• Support onboarding materials and orientation sessions.
