Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine HR transactions including advertisements, appointments, transfers, promotions, leave requests, and data updates.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and new-hire activities to ensure a smooth start.
• Respond to standard HR policy, pay schedule, and benefit inquiries; escalate complex cases.
• Maintain employee files, records, and logs in line with retention standards.
• Support recruitment logistics: postings, interview scheduling, and applicant documentation.
• Review HR workflows to improve accuracy and compliance with TDOT policies.
• Support leave program administration (FMLA, workers' compensation, etc.).
• Assist in delivering employee engagement programs and communications.
