Job summary

Nucor Data Systems seeks a Human Resources Generalist to be onsite at the Madison location, handling payroll processing, onboarding/termination, benefits, and compliance. The role supports training, communications, and HR programs in alignment with Nucor's mission and safety standards.

The successful candidate will maintain HRIS data, ensure timely reporting, and may travel to other sites to support the HR Team as needed.

Qualifications

3 years of Human Resource experience.
2 years payroll/payroll tax experience.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Due to the sensitivity and confidentiality required of the position, candidates must not have any family currently working for Nucor Data Systems.

Responsibilities

HR functions: payroll processing, postings, onboarding/termination, benefits administration.
Leave of absence in compliance with regulations; organize teammate training opportunities and outreach.
Assist with compliance training and prepare required reports; communicate teammate notices.
Maintain teammate data in the HRIS; travel to other sites as needed; support the NDS HR Team.
