Job summary

Korpack is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and HR records. You will be the first point of contact for employees on HR matters, keeping people processes accurate and compliant to attract, develop, and retain a strong team.

This full-time role in Illinois requires a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, 2–4 years HR experience, and working knowledge of federal and Illinois employment law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2–4 years HR generalist or coordinator experience.
• Working knowledge of federal and Illinois employment law.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/payroll system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting, resume screening, and interviews.
• Administer onboarding, new-hire packets, and orientation scheduling.
• Administer benefits programs and support open enrollment.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
• Advise on policies and employee handbook, escalate issues when needed.
• Support employee relations and investigations to resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and postings.
• Support training, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Process workers' compensation and leave requests.
• Prepare HR reports and metrics as requested.
