Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist based in Anderson, California. You will partner with HR Coordinators and Managers at more than 20 locations and lead the development and implementation of HR programs and processes.

The role involves recruiting, employee relations, training, payroll practices, and improving hiring across manufacturing locations. You will use HR systems and collaborate to enhance internal communications and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4 years progressive office administration experience including 2 years Human Resources-specific experience or Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Understanding of Federal and State employment laws.
• Proven ability to work independently, discretely, and handle confidential information.
• Experience identifying and analyzing issues with good judgement and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a resource and partner with HR Coordinators and Managers at more than 20 locations.
• Learn and grow in level of responsibility through identifying opportunities and collaboration.
• Involved with recruiting, employee relations, training, employment practices, and payroll processes.
• Lead development and implementation of HR programs and processes.
• Collaborate and mentor to improve recruiting, interviewing, and hiring practices at manufacturing locations.
• Engage with employees to address questions and conduct investigations.
• Gain proficiency in HRIS and Payroll systems.
• Monitor HR policies to find training opportunities and improvements.
• Develop training opportunities and effective internal communications as part of a team.
