Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a multi-shift precision casting operation at a Fortune 500 aerospace manufacturer in Northern New Jersey. This hands-on role partners with shop floor leaders and HR peers to own recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance for roughly 900 non-union employees.

You’ll help design an internal apprenticeship program while supporting safety, talent development, and benefits administration, reporting to the Senior HR Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of Human Resources and/or recruiting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with sound judgment in sensitive situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring cycle, from writing job descriptions to onboarding new hires.
• Prepare and extend offer letters, track sign-on bonuses and payout dates.
• Represent the company at job fairs and lead college recruiting efforts.
• Guide employees through internal job postings.
