Job summary

ID Logistics US in Henrico, Virginia is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with local leaders, manage recruiting, onboarding, and training, and drive employee relations and HR compliance. The role emphasizes strategic partnership and hands-on support in a fast-growing warehousing environment.

You will support performance management, wage analysis with the Compensation team, and ensure safety and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as HR Specialist in warehouse/manufacturing environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting activities (job postings, screening, interview scheduling)
• Coordinate new hire orientations and leader onboarding
• Coordinate training and cross-training within facilities
• Assist with events to boost morale and company culture
• Ensure leadership is trained on performance management activities (reviews, goals, development)
• Collaborate with Compensation to analyze wage data and competitive pay plans
• Prepare separation notices and conduct exit interviews
• Prepare reports to reduce absenteeism and turnover
• Represent organization at personnel-related hearings when needed
• Process temporary labor requests for facilities
• Coordinate associate events with operations team
• Assist with general HR admin for GM and site leaders
• Observe and enforce safety rules

Position Overview

Work Location: Henrico, Virginia

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm with 1 late day per week (12pm-8:30pm)

Compensation/Benefits

Attractive annual salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus yearly bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting activities, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling
• Coordinates new hire and new leader orientations.
• Coordinates training and cross-training activities within facilities.
• Assist with hosting events designed to increase morale and company culture.
• Ensure facility leadership is fully trained and is up to date on all performance management activities (including but not limited to reviews, goal setting, development planning, etc.).
• Partners with corporate HR team to investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues formally and informally.
• Writes and responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are compliant.
• Partners with Compensation team to conduct wage surveys within labor market or analyze wage and salary data to determine competitive compensation plan.
• Prepares associate separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
• Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations when needed.
• Processes temporary labor requests to fill needs within facilities.
• Coordinate associate events with operations team.
• Assist with administrative functions for General Manager and other site operations leaders and Human Resources.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and relevant work experience required.
• 2+ years of experience as an HR Specialist, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong facilitation and interpersonal abilities
• Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment, supported by strong investigative, documentation, and critical‑thinking skills
• Strong organizational abilities and demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Ability to influence without authority and build trust with leaders and employees
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule within a warehousing operation
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience using ADP platforms, including ADP WFN and ADP RM.
