Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, partner with the HR Manager, and advise managers on HR matters. The role emphasizes confidentiality, integrity, and collaboration across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR experience spanning employee relations, payroll, recruiting, and benefits, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. A BS/BA in HR or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years HR experience in employee relations, payroll, recruiting, consulting, leadership development, or benefits.
• Ability to consult with business partners on talent management and organizational design.

Responsibilities

• Resolve employee concerns, coach and discipline, investigate, and address performance issues.
• Manage recruiting from staffing needs and postings through screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Compile time and attendance data, submit payroll inputs, and generate reports as needed.
• Coordinate and communicate benefits programs (health, dental, disability, FMLA, retirement).
• Serve as a resource to managers and employees on HR policies and practices.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and timekeeping systems; update pay rates and new hire data.
• Coordinate employee events and activities in collaboration with committees.
• Support internal and external audits and training initiatives.
• Coach management on workforce and people planning processes.
