Job summary

CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing represents a premier US law firm seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for its Northern New Jersey office. This role provides broad HR support across compliance, policy administration, benefits, onboarding, HR systems, recruiting, and process improvement.

Under the Senior HR Manager, you will partner with HR teammates and internal stakeholders to ensure HR matters are handled accurately, consistently, and in line with firm policies and applicable

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in law or professional services.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law compliance, HR policies and procedures, benefits, and HRIS.
• Experience with Dayforce, AbsenceSoft, applicant tracking systems, or comparable HR technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad-based HR support across the Firm, including compliance, policy administration, benefits, onboarding, HR systems, and recruiting.
• Monitor HR compliance processes, trainings, and policy updates.
• Maintain HR documentation, records, and HRIS data with accuracy.
• Administer HR forms, notices, and employment law postings.
• Support HR operations, reporting, audits, and special projects.
