University of Houston-Clear Lake seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support Compensation, Employment, and PeopleSoft eFORM approvals. This role requires independent judgment across HR functions, including classification, data provision, and offboarding.

Responsibilities include ePAR processing, job description development, salary survey participation, HRIS data requests, audits, and HR reporting. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years HR experience.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Guides processing of eForms and serves as final approver for hire ePARs; may train campus on ePARs.
• Evaluates positions for proper classification and status; partners with managers to develop job descriptions.
• Manages off-boarding for benefits-eligible faculty and staff and handles related HRIS duties.
• Participates in salary surveys, interprets salary data, and performs analysis.
• Responds to data requests and creates queries in PeopleSoft HRMS; assists with audits and employment verifications.
• Supports HR projects and cross-functional initiatives and maintains compensation/Employment websites.
• Answers questions, initiates offers, and provides back-up for posting positions.
