Job summary

Verita Telecommunications is seeking an HR Generalist/Coordinator to support and administer a wide range of HR functions, including benefits, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and leave administration. The role also manages driver compliance programs to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements, and supports a positive workplace culture.

The onsite position runs Monday through Friday at our Plymouth, MI office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years related HR experience required.
• SHRM-CP credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee health and welfare benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Reconcile benefit statements, invoices, and enrollment records to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including background checks and pre-employment screenings in ADP.
• Complete Form I-9 requirements and maintain I-9 records in compliance with federal regulations.
