Washington County in Wisconsin is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR team and support about 600 employees across multiple departments. The role covers benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and HR compliance on a day-to-day basis.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience administering employee benefit programs and supporting multiple HR functions.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Administer employee benefit programs and HRIS updates, vendor coordination, COBRA and open enrollment activities.
• Coordinate employee wellness initiatives and the County's Wellness events.
• Partner with departments to recruit, hire, and onboard employees.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and support employee engagement initiatives.
• Advise supervisors on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation and corrective actions.
• Assist with workplace investigations and compliance with employment laws.
• Support employee and leadership training programs.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR programs, policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate HR records and assist with compliance reporting.
