Job summary

Emplify Health is seeking a collaborative HR Generalist to support leaders and employees across Gundersen Palmer, Tweeten Care Center, and Harmony Care Center. The role focuses on employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and programs that boost engagement in a healthcare setting.

You will partner with operational leaders, manage payroll and benefits administration, and address employee questions while helping to shape HR strategy and goals across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 1-2 years of progressive HR experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports HR initiatives to improve the employee experience, including routine administrative tasks to execute HR programs such as compensation, payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration
• Answers employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, employee relations, employee safety, policies, wellness and health
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

Emplify Health is seeking a collaborative and relationship-focused HR Generalist to support leaders and employees across multiple locations, including Gundersen Palmer, Tweeten Care Center, and Harmony Care Center. This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with operational leaders while providing hands-on HR support in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As an HR Generalist, you'll serve as a trusted resource for employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and HR programs that support employee engagement and organizational success.

What You Will Do:

• Supports the HR initiatives to help improve the employee experience, including performing routine administrative tasks to execute human resource programs such as compensation, payroll, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration
• Answers employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, employee relations, employee safety, policies, wellness and health
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

What's Available:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends for education and/or orientation activities

Location: Split between supporting Gundersen Palmer in West Union, IA, Tweeten Care Center in Spring Grove, MN, and Harmony Care Center in Harmony, MN

Expected schedule may include approximately three days per week in West Union and two days per week supporting the Spring Grove/Harmony locations, based on business needs

Starting salary $57,000 and up, based on your relevant years of work experience.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources or related field
• 1-2 years of progressive human resources related experience
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and data reporting tools.
• Proactive problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
