About The Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR team. This position plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and compliance. The HR Generalist will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure our HR operations align with organizational goals and maintain compliance with applicable employment laws.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including drafting job postings, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and extending offers.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Track employee training progress and ensure required training is completed and documented.
  • Administer background checks and manage the screening process for new employees.
  • Serve as a primary contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Support benefit administration tasks including enrollments, updates, and terminations.
  • Assist with the performance management process, including coordination of evaluations and manager support.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and help revise policies as needed.
  • Participate in HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a remote or professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, remote work setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working across departments.
