Job summary

Amex GBT in the United States is seeking an HR professional to partner with HRBPs, support employee relations, and guide compensation planning. This hybrid role involves collaborating across leaders and HR teams to resolve issues, coach performance, and ensure compliant HR practices.

The successful candidate will manage immigration processes, develop HR reports, and drive process improvements while aligning rewards with performance during annual cycles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in corporate organizations.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian employment law.
• Experience with immigration visa processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate foreign national immigration visa processes with internal and external paralegals.
• Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives for HR policies and practices.
• Develop HR reports, presentations, and documentation for departmental needs.

What You'll Do

• Partner with HRBPs to identify problems, roadblocks, and build effective solutions

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
• Strong understanding of core HR processes, including recruitment, selection, compensation, talent management, and employee relations
• Bachelor's degree in HR, a related field, or equivalent HR experience
• CHRP or other accredited HR certification preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels, including handling sensitive employment topics
• Solid understanding of US and Canadian employment law practices
• Genuine interest in staying current on HR regulations and trends, and applying that knowledge
• Ability to identify trends and measure outcomes using data, analytical thinking, and strategic problem-solving
• Open-minded and adaptable, with the persistence to see projects through to completion
• International experience and comfort working with remote teams across time zones is a plus

Location

United States

The US national base salary range for this position is from $72,100.00 - $133,900.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
