Job summary

Unison Health is seeking an HR Generalist to serve as the primary contact for employees, guiding benefits, policies, and HR processes. You will manage enrollments, leaves, and compliance while maintaining confidential records and supporting policy implementation.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and at least two years of HR experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years HR experience required.
• Knowledge of employment law, benefits regulations, and HR best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems (UKG a plus).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for employees regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Administer benefits including new hire enrollments, life event changes, and open enrollment.
• Coordinate FMLA, ADA, and other types of leave; ensure compliance and timely communication.
• Support tuition reimbursement, HSA contributions, and other employee programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in alignment with HR policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with HR policy development, implementation, and interpretation.
• Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives.

Position Summary:

The HR Generalist serves as a primary point of contact for employees, providing day-to-day HR support and guidance. This role assists employees with benefits, leaves of absence, HR policies and procedures, and general employment-related questions while helping ensure a positive and responsive employee experience.
