Job summary

SNF is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with Oil & Gas teams across The Woodlands, TX and remote locations. You will handle staffing, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration to support a positive employee experience.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years in HR with 1–2 years in full lifecycle recruiting, a Bachelor’s in HR, and strong knowledge of HRIS/ATS systems and employment laws.

The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive Human Resources support to the Oil & Gas teams in The Woodlands, TX; Long Beach, CA; Lockhaven, PA; and remote/home-based employees across key areas, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance. This role will contribute to the development, communication, and execution of HR policies and procedures while serving as a business partner and trusted liaison between employees, managers, and the HR function. The role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, sound judgment, and a customer-service mindset to ensure that HR programs and practices are implemented consistently and to support a positive, engaged employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive, day-to-day HR partnership to Oil & Gas leaders and employees, delivering strategic support across staffing, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Lead and/or provide high-level support on critical HR initiatives, projects, and change-management efforts that impact site operations and corporate alignment.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment activities in partnership with Corporate Recruitment, including managing the internal posting process, proactively sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and guiding selection decisions. Ensure ATS accuracy through ongoing data maintenance, reporting, and collaboration with SMEs.
  • Build, strengthen, and sustain strategic partnerships with industry organizations, local colleges/universities, workforce development entities, and community groups to support the long-term development of the talent pipeline.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and site leadership to ensure consistent implementation, communication, and reinforcement of HR policies, procedures, programs, and company initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource and advisor to managers, supervisors, and administrators by providing expert guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, and workforce management.
  • Apply strong critical-thinking skills and sound judgment to assess and resolve complex HR issues, balancing employee needs with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Administer and oversee advanced HR transactions such as job/compensation changes, investigations, corrective action processes, unemployment claims, and records management while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor’s Degree is required. A degree in Human Resources is preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years - Experience in a Human Resources role with progressive responsibility and 1-2 years of experience in full life cycle recruiting.

  • Additional Human Resources projects, functions, or events as needed.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • HRIS and ATS experience (Preferably WorkforceNow, ADP, and iCIMS) is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of policy and procedure, as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices and requirements.
