Job summary

Superior Tank Company, Inc. in Rosenberg, Texas is seeking an HR Generalist to provide on-site HR support for our Texas Division.

You will work with local management to strengthen communications, uphold HR practices, and ensure timely follow-through. Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will coordinate recruiting, onboarding, leave management, benefits, timekeeping and payroll inquiries while maintaining confidential records and supporting audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of Texas and federal employment requirements.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with Corporate HR.
• Payroll experience and familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support to employees and supervisors on policies, attendance, performance and employee relations; coordinate sensitive matters with Corporate HR.
• Coordinate recruiting, staffing agency relationships, onboarding and employee transitions.
• Assist with benefits, leave requests, workers’ compensation, timekeeping and payroll questions.
• Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in Paylocity and support audits, reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate training, policy acknowledgments and follow-up documentation.
• Partner with Corporate HR Manager and Texas management on projects, process improvements and employee communication.
