Job summary

ARGO is seeking a HR Generalist to implement and administer HR programs that deliver business value and engagement. The role covers employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, and compliance, supporting corporate goals at our Richardson, TX headquarters.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 6+ years of HR experience, including compliance, leave administration, and policy execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required.
• 6+ years in HR including employee relations, performance, compensation, training, leaves, onboarding, offboarding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS (preferably ADP).
• Knowledge of general employment laws; PHR certification preferred.

• Supports talent management, total rewards, performance management, and employee engagement and retention.
• Partners with management to ensure compliance with corporate programs, policies, and procedures.
• Executes onboarding and offboarding programs, including delivery, logistics, content revisions and updates, and evaluation of programs effectiveness.
• Deploys performance management tools and coaching sessions.
• Oversees Leave of Absence administration (ADA, FMLA, STD, LTD).
• Drives Career Planning Program by reviewing and partnering with leaders for success.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management and regulatory compliance.

JOB SUMMARY

The HR Generalist supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies. The HR Generalist will facilitate and implement appropriate HR programs and processes with a high degree of business value and engagement in order to help achieve corporate goals and initiatives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Supports the HR core processes that drive the initiatives of talent management, total rewards, performance management, and employee engagement and retention.
• Partners with management to ensure compliance with corporate programs, policies, and procedures.
• Is responsible for the execution of corporate onboarding and offboarding programs, which include delivery, logistics, content revisions and updates, and evaluation of programs effectiveness.
• Deploys performance management/appraisal program tools and processes including coaching, feedback sessions and training.
• Oversee the Leave of Absence administration to include ADA, FMLA, STD and LTD programs.
• Drives the Career Planning Program by reviewing the program for enhancements and partnering with leaders to ensure program success.
• Maintains needed knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, required
• 6+ years of experience in Human Resources to include but not limited to the following HR areas:
  • Employee Relations
  • Performance management
  • Compensation management
  • Training
  • Leave of Absence/FMLA/ADA/WC
  • Onboarding
  • Offboarding
• Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite at an intermediate to expert level
• Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP), strong plus
• Knowledge/experience with general employment laws required
• PHR Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally - expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to others. Ability to occasionally sit or stand for extended periods of time.

WORK LOCATION

The candidate will work at our corporate headquarters in Richardson, TX.
