Job summary

Universal Health Services seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support the facility HR Director. You will assist with recruitment, orientations, records maintenance, benefits enrollment meetings, inquiries, unemployment correspondence and employment verifications.

You will also coordinate employee activities and in-services to support staff development. We offer a growth-oriented environment with competitive compensation and comprehensive medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
• 3 years' related work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations related to HR.
• Administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
• Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support to the facility HR Director and team, including recruiting for vacant positions.
• Conduct general employee orientations and maintain personnel records and files.
• Manage employee benefits and 401(k) plan enrollment meetings and respond to inquiries.
• Handle unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and other HR clerical tasks.
• Organize all employee activities and in-services and assist with staff training.

This position is responsible for providing human resources support to the facility HR Director, which includes recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, conducting employee benefits and 401K plan enrollment meetings, responding to employee inquires, insurance, unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and organizing all employee activities and in-services.
