Job summary

Jobtailor in United States is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead policy development, employee relations, investigations, recruitment, onboarding, and background checks. You will partner with leaders to foster positive relations and ensure compliance through audits and background rechecks.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years in HR, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRMS systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum four years in the human resources field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in employee relations, conducting full investigations.
  • Minimum two years of experience with full cycle recruitment, onboarding and background checks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Experience with automated human resource management systems (HRMS/HRIS).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Valid Driver License and credentialing/licensing standards as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Manage the unemployment claims process.
  • Manage the worker’s compensation and ADA processes.
  • Support leaves of absence and benefits administration; backup to HR Specialist.
  • Foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts with leaders and staff.
  • Conduct thorough, unbiased employee investigations and recommend actions.
  • Maintain HR file compliance and assist with audits and background rechecks.
  • Recredential staff as applicable.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists for full cycle recruitment as needed.
  • Research and develop job descriptions for new or changing roles within the organization.
  • Perform other HR related duties as needed.
  • Be punctual, prepared, and open to coaching and feedback.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and deliver excellent internal/external customer service.
  • Apply trauma-informed CARE principles in daily work.

Job description

  • Work with leaders and staff to foster positive employee relations and resolve conflicts.
  • Conduct thorough, unbiased employee investigations and recommend course of action.
  • Maintain HR file compliance by conducting background rechecks, interpreting results and assisting with audit preparation.
  • Recredential staff as applicable.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to assist with full cycle recruitment as needed.
  • Research and develop job descriptions for new or changing roles within the organization.
  • Perform other HR related duties as needed.
  • Be punctual, arrive on time, and prepared.
  • Display a high degree of openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture through your actions, attitude, and communications.
  • Consistently deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum four years experience in the human resources field.
  • Minimum two years of experience in employee relations, conducting full investigations.
  • Minimum two years of experience with full cycle recruitment, onboarding and background checks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software.
  • Proficient working with automated human resource management systems.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
  • All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
