General Purpose:
In charge of implementing HR programs and providing support to business clients regarding all people issues to promote the growth and profitability of the business.
Main Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with managers on HR strategies and actions such as identifying current and future talent needs, recruiting methodologies to attract diverse talent, and talent development.
- Advise site management on talent matters to achieve business goals, including employee engagement, workforce planning, data analysis, and policy matters.
- Assess management capabilities and business development opportunities; provide feedback and mentorship to managers.
- Lead Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion initiatives with leadership and employees to foster a safe and inclusive environment.
- Participate as an agile team member in site and corporate projects, teams, and process improvements.
- Maintain our Culture and Ways of Working; guide managers on change management related to culture.
- Serve as a consultant on HR management trends, labor laws, and policies to ensure appropriate outcomes.
- Manage the employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, orientation, performance reviews, merit processes, and separations.
- Develop local recruitment programs and budgets; maintain a network of contacts; coordinate participation in job fairs and outreach activities.
- Advise management on policy interpretation and legal compliance; investigate violations and resolve employee relations issues.
- Design programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention, especially for critical skills, while minimizing legal exposure.
- Maintain records as required by law or regulations and communicate relevant information.
- Partner with Total Rewards on compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance and proper administration.
- Support HR Centers of Excellence in implementing global initiatives locally; communicate and educate employees about programs.
- Participate in or manage employee sustainability initiatives and events.
