Job summary

Clark Pest Control is hiring a Human Resources Generalist in Lodi, CA. This full‑time role reports to the Director of Human Resources at the corporate office and split between in‑office and remote work, four days on site and one day remote each week.

You will lead recruitment, employee relations, policy development, compliance, performance management, and training initiatives while helping shape workforce planning and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in HR or business.
• Professional HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment: postings, resume screening, interviews, onboarding.
• Manage employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures for compliance.
• Maintain HR records and ensure legal compliance at all levels.
• Support performance reviews and coach managers.
• Organize training sessions and employee development initiatives.
• Track HR data and provide insights for decisions.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting our team’s growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. This is a full‑time position reporting to the Director of Human Resources at the Company’s Corporate Office located in Lodi, CA.

What You’ll Do

• Recruitment and Staffing: Coordinate hiring processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
• Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, mediate disputes, and foster a positive workplace culture through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Compliance and Recordkeeping: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation.
• Performance Management: Support performance review processes, provide coaching to managers, and facilitate employee development programs.
• Training and Development: Organize and deliver training sessions, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills and engagement.
• HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze HR data to provide insights and support decision‑making.
• Support Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership on organizational goals, succession planning, and workforce development.

Education and Specifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or business‑related degree desirable.
• Professional HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) preferred.

Physical Demands / Working Environment

• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
