Job summary

Adient is seeking an entry level HR Generalist at Bridgewater Interiors IV in Michigan. You will support employees with general HR inquiries, process HR transactions, and help improve HR service delivery through establishing efficient processes.

You will work with Workday and ADP pay system to ensure data integrity, participate in location events, and assist with HR projects. This role requires adaptability to a 2nd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Entry level HR Generalist position.
• Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine HR inquiries, managing to completion
• Conduct HR transactions including: orientation, leaves of absences, exit meetings, etc.
• Process HRIS transactions, ensuring data integrity and quality
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guidance on HR policies, processes and self-service tools to employees and managers, escalating when necessary to internal COEs and external resources
• Participate and assist with location events
• Assist with departmental HR projects and initiatives as needed
• Define, develop, and maintain concise documentation for procedures, work processes andreports
• Collect, analyze, and prepare visual HR related information such as the preparation of scorecards and dashboards as warranted
• Perform root-cause analysis using data, identify performance gaps and suggest process improvements that can streamline and improve customer service

Must be able to work 2nd shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm Monday through Friday
