Job summary

The Madison Club, located in La Quinta, California, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join The Madison Club HR Department. You will support efficient HR operations, payroll input, onboarding, and employee engagement within a luxury hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in HR, bilingual Spanish, and proficiency with MS Office and HRIS systems (Workday preferred). Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is highly desirable, though comparable work experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in hospitality.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• HRIS experience; Workday desired.
• Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding, new hire onboarding, and off-boarding.
• Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal tools with accurate information.
• Respond to employee questions on onboarding, benefits, payroll, etc.
• Assist input sheets for biweekly payroll.
• Support employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with employee relations investigations with Sr. HR Manager.
• Support recruitment projects, update applicant tracking system with status.
• Manage employee housing process (walkthroughs).
• Assist on other HR projects as requested by Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

The Madison Club is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR Department.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist will help The Madison by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and providing administrative support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with employee onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.
• Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal company tools with accurate employee information.
• Respond in a timely manner to employee questions and requests related to HR functions including on-boarding, benefits, employment, and payroll.
• Assist with input sheets for biweekly payroll.
• Support all employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist Sr. HR Manager with employee relations investigations.
• Support various HR and recruiting projects as needed, including but not limited to updating the applicant tracking system with candidate status.
• Manage employee housing process (beginning and ending walkthroughs)
• Assist with other HR projects as needed and requested by the Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

Skills & Qualifications:

The Company’s good faith estimate of the salary rate expected to pay for this role is $26 - $30 hourly and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
