Job summary

The Madison Club in La Quinta, California is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR Department.

The Human Resources Generalist will help The Madison by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and providing administrative support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree desirable or comparable work experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in HR, preferably hospitality.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• HRIS experience; Workday desirable.
• Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience a plus.
• Flexible and able to adapt to fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.
• Maintain HRIS and employee files with accurate information.
• Respond to employee questions on onboarding, benefits, employment, and payroll.
• Assist with input sheets for biweekly payroll.
• Support employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist Senior HR Manager with employee relations investigations.
• Support HR and recruiting projects, including ATS updates.
• Manage employee housing process (walkthroughs).
• Assist with other HR projects as requested by the Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

The Madison Club is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR Department.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will help The Madison by facilitating efficient HR operations by managing employee records, coordinating recruitment processes, and providing administrative support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with employee onboarding, new hire coordination, and off-boarding.
• Maintain HRIS, employee files, and internal company tools with accurate employee information.
• Respond in a timely manner to employee questions and requests related to HR functions including on-boarding, benefits, employment, and payroll.
• Assist with input sheets for biweekly payroll.
• Support all employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist Sr. HR Manager with employee relations investigations.
• Support various HR and recruiting projects as needed, including but not limited to updating the applicant tracking system with candidate status.
• Manage employee housing process (beginning and ending walkthroughs)
• Assist with other HR projects as needed and requested by the Senior HR Manager, GM, or Project President.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is highly desirable, though comparable work experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish required
• Experience with MS Office suite.
• HRIS Experience; Workday experience desired.
• Recruiting / Talent Acquisition experience a plus.
• Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Company’s good faith estimate of the salary rate expected to pay for this role is $26 - $30 hourly and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
