Job summary

US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM) seeks an HR Generalist to support employee relations, HR operations, and compliance across practice areas. You will work with Practice Leaders, managers, and staff to ensure policy consistency and accurate HR data.

The role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field, 3+ years of HR experience, and familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms. Paycom experience is highly preferred; certifications (PHR/SHRM-CP) are a plus.

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in HR Generalist/HR Operations/HRBP support.
  • Experience with employee relations, HR compliance, audits, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Paycom experience highly preferred and familiarity with HRIS/ATS platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary HR resource for Practice Leaders, managers, and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, attendance, and employment matters.
  • Conduct employee relations intake, assist investigations, document actions, and resolve concerns.
  • Partner with HRBPs on escalated matters and provide coaching and HR initiative support.
  • Perform recurring HR audits to ensure compliance and data accuracy; maintain employee records in the HRIS.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, unemployment claims, VOEs, and workers' comp administration.
  • Assist Staffing and HRBP with recruiting needs, reporting, audits, and HR program implementation.

POSITION PURPOSEThe HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the employee experience and day-to-day HR operations across the organization, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, Practice Leader support, HR compliance, audits, staffing, and HR Business Partner support. This role serves as a trusted HR resource to Practice Leaders, managers, and employees while ensuring consistent application of HR policies, accurate employee data, and effective HR processes.The HR Generalist partners closely with HR Business Partners, HR and Operations leadership to support employee lifecycle activities, address employee and leader needs, and execute HR initiatives across the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEmployee Relations & Practice Leader SupportServe as a primary HR resource to Practice Leaders, managers, and employees regarding HR policies, employee relations, performance management, attendance, and other employment matters.Conduct employee relations intake and assist with investigations, documentation, corrective action, and resolution of employee concerns.Partner with HRBPs on escalated employee relations matters and provide support with employee relations trends, leader coaching, and HR initiatives.Maintain appropriate confidentiality, documentation, and follow-through on sensitive employee matters.HR Operations & ComplianceConduct recurring HR audits to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and adherence to company policies and processes; identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective action.Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS, including employment status, job titles, reporting structures, and compensation.Support key HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, unemployment claims, verifications of employment (VOEs), and workers' compensation administration.Serve as a knowledgeable resource across HR functions including benefits, payroll, compensation, leave, staffing, and HR transitions.Staffing & HRBP SupportPartner with Practice Leaders and managers to address recruiting needs and staffing challenges.Provide administrative, analytical, and project support to HRBPs, including reporting, audits, employee data, documentation, and HR initiatives.Support the implementation and communication of HR programs, policies, and organizational initiatives.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) preferred.ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist, HR Operations, or HR Business Partner support role.Experience with employee relations, HR compliance, audits, and employee lifecycle processes.Experience supporting leaders and managers with employee-related matters.Healthcare or multi-site experience preferred.Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment regulations.Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms; Paycom experience highly preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with employees and leaders at all levels.Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive HR matters.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and proactively identify and resolve issues.By joining US Oral Surgery Management (USOSM), you become part of a dynamic and forward-thinking organization made up of best-in-class Oral and Maxillofacial practices.
