Responsibilities:
Onboarding (primary owner)
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process, from accepted offer through the employee's first 90 days.

  • Track onboarding metrics (completion rates, time-to-productivity, new hire feedback) and recommend improvements.
Employee Relations (entry-level concerns)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns on policies, workplace conflicts, attendance, and conduct.
  • Conduct intake conversations, document concerns accurately, and triage issues by severity.

  • Keep case records confidential, complete, and current in the HR case management system.
Accommodation Requests
  • Manage the accommodation process under the ADA, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), applicable state law, and religious accommodation requirements under Title VII.
  • Receive requests, gather supporting documentation, and lead the interactive process with employees and managers.
  • Evaluate options, document decisions, and coordinate implementation with managers, IT, facilities, and benefits.
  • Coordinate with leave administration (FMLA and state leave) where accommodations and leave overlap.
  • Follow up to confirm accommodations remain effective and maintain confidential medical records separately from personnel files.
