Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for an HR Generalist position in El Cajon, CA. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a starting annual salary of $80,000-$100,000. The role includes recruiting, payroll and timekeeping support, HR policy development with Corporate HR, audits, and maintaining the HRIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills.
• Experience working with an HRIS system; Dayforce experience is preferred.
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates to support staffing needs.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with the Corporate Human Resources team to develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Assist with internal and external HR audits and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate and facilitate the annual performance review process, including scheduling, communications, and merit planning.
• Maintain and update the HRIS database, ensuring accurate employee records and generating reports as needed.
• Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and management while promoting a positive workplace culture.

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and every other Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience.


• Experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong overall computer skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


• Experience working with an HRIS system; Dayforce experience is preferred.


• Professional HR certification (PHR or SPHR) is a plus.

Pay Details:

$80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
