Job summary

Guardian Glass, LLC seeks a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Auburn Hills, MI location. You will partner with business leaders to advance HR strategies, performance management, onboarding, recruitment, and talent development.

You will reinforce our PBM culture and work closely with manufacturing leadership to align people initiatives with business goals. You will also support HR metrics, succession planning, and cross-functional projects while guiding employees through policies and processes.

Guardian Glass, LLC is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Generalist located in and supporting our Auburn Hills, MI location. In this role, you will partner with business leaders and supervisors to advance HR strategies and organizational goals.

Our Team

Our Human Resources team is committed to driving organizational value by designing and executing strategic talent initiatives across diverse HR disciplines. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as a trusted advisor, coaching and partnering with supervisors and employees to navigate HR policies and programs. You will play a key role in fostering alignment with our Principle Based Management (PBM) framework, ensuring that people strategies support our core values and business objectives.

What You Will Do

• Provide HR support to employees and their respective supervisors/managers in performance management, time and attendance, and talent development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with site leadership and employees
• Act as a steward of our principle-based culture by reinforcing values such as integrity, respect, compliance, and long-term value creation
• Support the recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers, leveraged recruiting capability to build high performing teams
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires leveraging existing tools and processes
• Collaborate with managers to assess workforce needs and develop plans to meet organizational goals
• Implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent
• Support HR metrics analysis by running reports and analyzing data while building supervisors capability to leverage people insight tools available to them
• Develop and maintain a pipeline for succession planning to ensure future leadership and skill continuity
• Assist with special projects and initiatives to support overall HR strategy and business objectives
• Support Guardian’s Early Career program by being a liaison between Guardian & Koch
