Job summary

Target is seeking a Human Resources Expert to support store leaders in recruiting, scheduling, compliance, and guest experience. This role focuses on staffing, payroll practices, training, and maintaining a welcoming work environment.

You will contribute to day-to-day HR processes, adherence to employment laws, and collaboration with leadership to meet business needs in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs.
• Experience using scheduling software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft ranges with a friendly, helpful interaction.
• Assist guests in finding needs or resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Lead recruiting efforts to help store leaders hire candidates.
• Support training needs and be an advocate for continuous learning.
• Be an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
