BGCSF seeks a Director of Human Resources to oversee employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims, guiding an HR Generalist and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Five years in nonprofit HR, a bachelor’s degree, and excellent communication and confidentiality are required; PHR or SPHR certification and Paylocity experience are preferred.

Formación

• Five years of experience in human resources and staff management in a nonprofit setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA protocols.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar software.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee employee relations, performance management, leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims.
• Supervise the HR Generalist and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Payroll to manage benefits, retirement, and open enrollment communications.
• Maintain HRIS and onboarding/update documents; coordinate documentation.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze departure trends; support special projects.
