Job summary

Munich Re America Services (MRAS) in Princeton, NJ, seeks a Human Resources Associate to support day-to-day HR operations across benefits, compensation, employee relations, training, staffing and work-life programs. You will maintain SuccessFactors and SAP-HR data for all employees.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with 1–2 years of HR administration, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-2 years in HR administration.
• Fundamental understanding of HR programs such as benefits, EEO, FLSA, incentive compensation, and employee relations.
• Ability to prioritize and organize a substantial workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employee support and administer HR programs.
• Maintain HR data in SuccessFactors and SAP-HR for all employees.
• Assist onboarding of new hires and ensure paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Interpret and communicate HR policies to employees and managers.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to respond to employee queries.
• Generate ad hoc reports for leadership as needed.
• Analyze HR issues and recommend process improvements.
• Support projects and develop templates, forms, and standard responses to improve efficiency.
• Interface with vendors and departments for data transfers when needed.
