Job summary

Community Research Foundation (CRF) in San Diego seeks an HR Specialist - Credentialing and Records to coordinate credentialing activities, support new hires, and maintain compliant HR records. The role emphasizes timely credentialing, privacy, and accurate documentation within HRIS.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, 36 hours per week, with typical M-F hours and a pay range of $30.00–$33.00 per hour. Strong organizational skills and HRIS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; AA or BA/BS strongly preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in Human Resources field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of credentialing and recredentialing applications to ensure timely clearance of service providers.
• Provide individual support to all new hires to facilitate complete and accurate credentialing applications.
• Track credentialing due dates and processing times to monitor provider compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Update credentialing information in HRIS; maintain accurate records for prescribers and staff including new hires and terminations.
• Track licensure and registrations for CRF workforce members; follow up with renewals and document in HRIS.
• Maintain paper and electronic workforce records with proper document management.
• Provide copies of employee records during audits, site visits, and legal proceedings.
• Maintain Form I-9 documents and update compliance in HRIS.
