An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Assistant to support the hiring process and ensure smooth operations within the HR department. This role involves collecting new hire paperwork, responding to inquiries, and maintaining personnel records. Assist with the new employee hiring process by collecting all new hire completed paperwork and I9 documentation. Inform applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties. Assist with the hiring process for new employees. Respond to all employment reference and verification inquiries. Assist with the coordination of Hospital Orientation. Perform all clerical functions including typing, mailings, distribution of memos and other correspondence, maintenance of personnel records, departmental records/reports, and department inventory and supplies. Complete reports and audits as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in hospital survey processes, performance evaluations, open enrollments, and other special projects.

Job Specifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 2+ years experience in HR-related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None.
Knowledge: Must be detail-oriented and work well independently. Strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Typing ability of 45+ wpm, knowledge of Word required, Excel, Access, and Human Resource Information Systems/Database, and ATS System preferred.
Supervision Received: Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager.
Supervision Exercised: None.
Line of Promotion: Human Resources Generalist.
Working Conditions: Works in Human Resources office and travels to other areas of the Hospital. Possible exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent or aggressive behavior. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids, and other hazardous waste. General hospital environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Repetitive typing/keying.
