New Freedom is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team in our Phoenix-area offices. This role helps manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compliance, training initiatives, HR reporting, and daily employee support.
You’ll be a key resource for staff, helping maintain a positive employee experience across the employment lifecycle while upholding confidentiality and HR best practices.

The HR Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while helping ensure a positive employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. This role supports onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, benefits administration, compliance activities, training initiatives, HR reporting, and day-to-day employee support. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and an important contributor to maintaining an efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR function.

High School or better.
Associates or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
Strong communication, organizational, time-management, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – strong flexibility and adaptability is a must
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative and effectiveness when working independently
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and able to effectively meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates the utmost integrity, ethics, sensitivity and confidentiality in all situations
Demonstrates and models appropriate boundaries and professionalism in all situations
Demonstrates a strong knowledge, understanding, and application of HR principles, practices, and regulations
Advanced computer skills required – HRIS (i.e., UKG Pro, Kronos, ADP, Paylocity, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams), Internet, and other software required
Strong working knowledge of state and federal labor and employment law, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, PWFA, and HR best practices
1 year: Experience in HR support or coordinator role
Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, and/or human services setting
2 years: Relevant HR experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Drug & Alcohol Testing
HR certification
