Primoris T&D in Denton, TX is seeking an HR Coordinator to support field and office teams in a fast-paced construction environment. You will handle day-to-day HR tasks, onboarding, compliance, and data integrity in HR systems.

This role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and growth in HR capabilities, interfacing with supervisors and project teams while ensuring legal compliance and accurate personnel records, with in-office schedule Monday-Thursday and work-from-home Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR coordinator/HR operations role; construction industry a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to build trust with field and office staff.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to learn, take initiative, and grow HR capabilities.
• HRIS experience; Workday familiarity preferred.
• Bachelors in HR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist new-hire vetting, onboarding, and compliance audits to ensure employees are jobsite-ready.
• Process personnel actions such as promotions, pay changes, job changes, and terminations.
• Assist with recruiting and hiring qualified candidates for both skilled trades and administrative roles; partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, along with construction-specific requirements such as certifications and safety training records.
• Keep employee data accurate and up to date in Workday and other HR systems.
• Prepare recurring HR reports, including the monthly Zero Hours Report.
• Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and other sensitive HR discussions.
• Support additional HR projects and responsibilities as needed.

Job Overview

Primoris T&D provides construction, maintenance, and engineering of electric Transmission, Distribution, and Substation infrastructure. Ancillary services include wireless telecommunication installation, environmental cleanup, project management, and storm restoration services. We're hiring an HR Coordinator to support core HR functions across both field and office teams in a fast-paced construction environment. This role provides day-to-day HR support, helps maintain compliance, and works closely with supervisors and project teams. It's a great fit for someone who is collaborative, eager to learn, and ready to grow their HR skill set! Our offices are located at 6831 N. Interstate 35, Denton, TX 76207. This opportunity will be in-office, Monday-Thursday, and work from home on Fridays!

What You'll Do
