Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Recruitment Operations Lead and the Director of Human Resources (HR), this position provides HR coordinator services by partnering with internal customers within the University of Idaho. This position will work closely with units and departments to provide support on HR issues. Duties may include:

  • Provide support on HR matters including recruitment and hiring
  • Refer and direct requests and questions to the appropriate HR functional area Interpret and apply University procedures, policies and business processes
  • Coordinate within designated area of subject matter expertise
  • Plan and carry out work independently and timely
  • Partner with HR to create cross functional teams in order to create solutions for units and departments
  • Assist with routing HR forms and updating employee records
  • One year of human resources or recruiting experience

  • Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues
