Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a coordinator role, preferably in healthcare.

• New hires are required to attend one full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for HR operations and applicant processing.
• Maintain HR postings, bulletins, and employee communications.
• Prepare and audit employee files and HR documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage data in HRIS and ensure timely employee transactions.
• Protect confidentiality of employee, patient, and organizational information per HIPAA and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of HR processes. This role assists with recruitment activities, onboarding and New Employee Orientation, personnel record management, employment verifications, employee relations support, and employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Coordinator maintains HR records and systems, processes employee transactions, prepares HR-related documentation and reports, and assists with other human resources matters. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting the facility's HR objectives and commitment to Service Excellence.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Provides professional administrative support for Human Resources operations by responding to inquiries, managing incoming communications, welcoming applicants and visitors, and assisting candidates throughout the application process, including application completion, status updates, and follow-up communications.
• Maintains and updates required HR postings, bulletin boards, and employee communications to reflect current information, policy updates, and organizational changes.
• Prepares, maintains, and audits employee personnel files and related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Processes and maintains employee data and personnel records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all employee transactions in compliance with established policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Maintains the confidentiality, security, and integrity of employee, patient, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA requirements, organizational policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a coordinator role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Preferred experience of 3 to 5 years in recruitment, training, employee development, career counseling, or related human resources functions.
• New hires are required to attend one (1) full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
• Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check)
