Job summary

Comfort Home Health & Hospice is seeking an HR Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, payroll data entry, and HR policy guidance in a full-time, in-office role. You will collaborate with leaders to attract, support, and retain healthcare professionals who make a difference.

Responsibilities include maintaining employee records in Workday, handling confidential information with discretion, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Human Resources related function.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Workday preferred.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Your Impact

Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns. Respond to internal and external HR inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team members. Support recruitment efforts through job postings, candidate sourcing, background screenings, interview coordination, and employment offers. Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding while ensuring all employment requirements are met. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, HR forms, and HRIS data within Workday. Support payroll operations through data entry, audits, reporting, and discrepancy resolution. Assist with benefits administration and employee-related programs. Coordinate training sessions and ensure compliance with required training programs. Assist supervisors with performance management processes and employee relations matters. Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and other administrative documentation. Process employment changes, including hires, status changes, and terminations. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to improve processes and support business objectives. Help foster a positive, welcoming, and professional workplace culture.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources related function.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare, Home Health and/or Hospice experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Workday experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, tact, and enthusiasm in a fast-paced environment.
