Job summary

US Legal Support in Houston, TX is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support for the HR department while ensuring compliance with employment regulations. This hybrid role requires two days in the office weekly and offers collaboration with HR leadership across the organization.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling confidential information while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative support, Human Resources, or related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources Business Partners and the HR team.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, training sessions, and related logistics.
  • Prepare, proofread, edit, and distribute HR communications, correspondence, and mailings.
  • Track and maintain company promotional inventory and materials.
  • Assist with communications involving employees, applicants, vendors, and business partners.
  • Conduct online research and track project progress as needed.
  • Maintain organized records and a professional office environment.
  • Coordinate activities with external vendors and service providers.
  • Manage department phone calls, emails, mail, and package distribution.
  • Support HR initiatives, projects, and daily department operations.
  • Assist colleagues and leadership with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Help ensure HR processes and practices remain compliant with applicable employment regulations.

About the Role
