Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
Strong understanding of HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration
Experience supporting leave administration, including FMLA, workers' compensation, and other employee leave programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience maintaining confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
Previous experience working within the construction, maintenance, facilities, or field services industry
Knowledge of California and Texas employment laws
Experience supporting a multi-location workforce
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
Experience with benefits enrollment and compliance reporting processes
Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
