Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruiting, onboarding, and HR projects within our private club. You will manage employee files, assist with appreciation initiatives, and coordinate communications across departments to maintain exceptional service standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in HR or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This role supports a dynamic team on site at our Texas property.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting by reviewing resumes and conducting interviews for hourly employees.
• Support onboarding by preparing materials and coordinating new hire orientation.
• Assist HR leadership with projects, reports, and initiatives.
• Maintain employee files and records.
• Coordinate employee appreciation initiatives and the employee store.
• Serve as point of contact for day-to-day employee questions.
• Coordinate monthly initiatives like birthday and anniversary cards and the employee newsletter.
• Coordinate with vendors and occasional operational errands.
• Maintain relations with internal departments and support day-to-day logistics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the recruiting process by reviewing resumes and conducting secondary interviews for hourly employees.
• Provide support during the onboarding process by preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new hire orientation for new employees.
• Support the Director of HR, Assistant Director of HR Manager, and HR Manager with various projects, reports, and HR-related initiatives.
• Provide administrative support by managing and maintaining employee files and records.
• Coordinate and help facilitate employee appreciation initiatives, including the employee store, and recognition programs.

Initials

• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day employee questions, including general HR resources, benefits guidance, and internal processes.
• Assist with recurring monthly initiatives, including employee birthday and anniversary cards and the employee newsletter.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist with occasional operational errands (e.g., picking up supplies or materials).
• Maintain working relationships with key internal departments to support employee-related needs or questions.
• Maintain an organized and professional office environment, managing supplies, communication tools, and day-to-day logistics.
• Uphold the club’s service standards in all interactions and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
