Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience building or transforming HR functions in small to mid-sized organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and multi-state HR compliance.
  • Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence leaders across the organization.

What You'll Do

Evaluate the company's current HR and payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Develop and implement foundational HR policies, procedures, and documentation.

Assess payroll operations and recommend best practices for long-term success.

Review onboarding, recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.

Partner with leadership to develop scalable HR processes that support future growth.

Advise on organizational structure, workforce planning, and HR strategy.

Support a growing, multi-state workforce while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Create recommendations for the long-term HR function and future staffing needs.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.

Experience building or transforming HR functions in small to mid-sized organizations.

Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and multi-state HR compliance.

Experience developing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

Excellent communication, organizational, and consulting skills.

Ability to work independently and influence leaders across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous HR consulting or fractional HR experience.

Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or organizational growth.

Experience implementing or improving HRIS and payroll systems.

Paycom experience is a plus.
