Job summary

Service Oklahoma (SOK) is seeking an HR Compliance Officer to serve as Compliance Coordinator, handling discipline, investigations, garnishments, unemployment, and verifications while ensuring federal and state compliance. The role collaborates with HR leadership and travels as needed.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in HR, law, or related field, plus one year of experience or an equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal & state HR rules; interpret rules in practice.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong judgement.

Responsibilities

• Works with HR leadership to administer progressive discipline per Civil Service rules.
• Handles employee grievances, investigations, garnishments, unemployment, and verifications.
• Maintains personnel and payroll records; audits data and generates HR reports.
• Assists with policy management and leadership development; cross-trains as needed.
• Supports job descriptions and analyzes FLSA status upon request.
