Job summary

ARS-Rescue Rooter in the United States seeks an experienced HR Compliance Specialist to lead employment screening, DOT driver qualification, and regulatory adherence across multi-state operations.

You will administer background checks, drug testing, verifications, and MVR reviews, partner with HR leaders and vendors, monitor audits, and generate reports to minimize risk while delivering a consistent candidate and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in HR Operations, Employment Compliance, Background Screening, or related field.
• Knowledge of FCRA, adverse action requirements, and screening compliance.
• Experience with background screening, drug testing, and MVR programs.
• DOT driver qualification knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer pre-employment screening programs including background checks and drug testing.
• Review and adjudicate screening results per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support FCRA adverse action processes and employment screening compliance.
• Monitor DOT driver qualification requirements and maintain compliance docs.
• Partner with HR leaders, recruiters, and vendors to resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain records, generate reports, and assist audits and process improvements.
• Provide guidance on employment screening and workforce compliance.
