Job Summary (List Format) – HR Compliance Analyst (Remote)

• Role Focus:
• Enterprise-level HR Compliance Analyst for a large bank.
• Specializes in back-end compliance, policy review, and enforcement.
• Emphasis on U.S. (federal & state) employment law compliance.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Review, update, and distribute HR policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain “Policy on Policies” framework and ensure adherence to standards.
• Create and publish ServiceNow knowledge articles (HTML formatting a plus).
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and support compliance reporting.
• Generate and analyze compliance reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF).
• Draft and proofread compliance communications and training materials.
• Use Word mail-merge for compliance notifications.
• Support HR, Legal, and Audit teams with compliance inquiries and training tracking.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce compliance risk.
• Participate in cross-functional groups for compliance function changes.
• Preferred Experience:
• Recent experience with Large Financial Institution (LFI) compliance.
• Understanding of banking regulator expectations and LFI policy structures.
• Experience in large-bank enterprise HR compliance and policy governance.
• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree + 4 years’ HR compliance/service center experience, or
• High school diploma/GED + 8 years’ relevant experience.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, IF formulas) and Word (mail-merge).
• ServiceNow knowledge article creation; HTML skills a bonus.
• Core Competencies:
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and deadlines.
• Comfortable with administrative HR compliance work.
