Job description

Join to apply for the HR Compliance Analyst role at Piper Companies.

Piper Companies is seeking an HR Compliance Analyst to join an outpatient health network and support company’s compliance initiatives.

This will be a remote-based 12-month assignment with potential for direct conversion (CST or EST strongly preferred).

Responsibilities:
  1. Build out facility-specific HR policies and procedures using the company’s existing framework.
  2. Retire legacy documentation to ensure alignment with current compliance standards.
  3. Support key compliance initiatives, including:
  • Form I-9 audits and teammate compliance
  • Vendor transitions and process enhancements
  • Policy/process updates (e.g., drug testing, background checks)
  • Establishment of an audit cadence
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure appropriate tools and protocols are in place.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a modernized HR compliance program.
  • Qualifications:
    • B.S. degree required.
    • Experience building or contributing to HR compliance programs.
    • Understanding of lessons learned and evolving compliance standards.
    • Resourceful, curious, and willing to learn from failures.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting priorities.
    • Strong relationship-building skills in matrixed organizations.
    • Organized, social, a continuous learner, and SHRM-certified (preferred).
    • Familiarity with federal employment law and compliance trends (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OFCCP).
    Compensation:
    • $35-$45/hr based on experience.
    • Long-term contract with possible extensions or conversions.
    • Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays.
