Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC is seeking an HR Intern to support the HR and Communications teams across HR strategy, DEI initiatives, HR IT systems, and process management. You will partner with key HR members to gain experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation. The internship is designed to be educational and practical.

The role offers exposure to cross-functional projects, with a focus on learning and growth in a collaborative environment at MBV Charleston.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, HR, or related field.
• Previous internships or work experience in Corporate environments preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support in strategic and functional areas of HR, including HR IT systems, DEI, compensation and benefits recommendations, business analysis, project management, and communications.
• Assist in collecting internal and external information for reports and statistical research.
• Collaborate with key personnel to understand project objectives and approach.
• Draft and proofread HR documents and training materials.
