Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking an HR Business Partner in Champaign, IL to partner with designated divisions and HR teams. The role delivers data-driven insights, handles routine associate relations, and supports recurring HR processes to ensure a consistent associate experience.

The position requires understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and confidentiality. Bachelor's degree is preferred and 1–2 years in HR Generalist/HRBP in a service environment; banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain partnerships with managers and serve as first contact for inquiries.
• Support policy and procedural questions and refer to SME when necessary.
• Schedule meetings with HRBP and business units to build partnerships.
• Handle routine associate relations incidents and coaching needs.
• Collect, analyze, and report routine associate metrics.
• Generate routine reports and dashboards to inform HRBP decisions.
• Identify patterns and trends and provide actionable insights to HRBP.
